Govt starts negotiations on draft model bilateral treaty
India has started the initial rounds of negotiations regarding the new draft model bilateral investment treaty (BIT), a final version of which is expected to replace the existing Bilateral Investment Protection and Promotion Agreement (BIPPA), which India has signed with 83 countries.
