Stuart Scott, ESPN anchor, dies at 49
Stuart Scott , one of ESPN 's best-known "SportsCenter" anchors, has died at 49 after battling cancer for several years, the sports programmer announced Sunday. Scott, who joined the sports giant in 1993 for the launch of ESPN2, was diagnosed with cancer in November 2007 and dealt with recurring bouts of the disease.
