Far EasTone Telecommunications (FET), one of the six 4G mobile communication licensees in Taiwan, has made an open call for tenders for procurement of equipment for 7,000-8,000 4G base stations, with Ericsson, Huawei Technologies and Nokia Solutions and Networks being competitors, and the results will be announced by the end of 2013, according to company president Yvonne Li.
