Last week, the Finnish telecom gear producer, Nokia Corporation (ADR) (NYSE:NOK), said that it will buy Alcatel Lucent SA (ADR) (NYSE:ALU), its Franco American competitor, in an all stock transaction valued at $ 16.6 billion or 15.6 billion euros.
